Guided tour at The Culture Yard 

The Culture Yard is a cultural centre for knowledge and creativity, expression, experience, education and identity. On this tour, you hear the history of transformation from shipyard to cultural institution. Duration approx. 75 minutes.

The Shipyard Museum   

Hear stories from the days when Helsingor was a shipyard and the shipyard whistle was the city's pulse. The Shipyard Museum is steeped in stories of the people who worked at the shipyard and of the work that took place, before technology took over. You will also hear anecdotes about the many colourful nicknames used at the yard. Duration approx. 1 hour.

The Culture Harbour 

Experience Helsingor's new active urban space. On this tour, the guide tells about the area and the transformation from the shipyard to the cultural area. While you are walking around the area, you see the new rampart, the Maritime Museum (from the outside), the sculptures HAN and “the shipyard workers” and you see the ships in the harbour. You hear about the combination of culture, architecture and industrial history. Duration approx. 75 minutes.

Vaerftets Food Market

The new “attraction” in Helsingor Vaerftets Food Market opened in one of the old shipyard halls. Experience an informal afternoon with activities such as street basketball, soccer and petanque. Taste food and drink from the many food trucks and maybe even include foodie bingo in the program. There is space both inside and outside - so if weather allows you can eat outside.
